Pushing Daisies – Basket
Part of Pushing Daisies, a series of eleven vessels exploring material value, decay, and transformation.
Glass (sand) and plastic — one of the earliest and one of the last man-made materials — are brought into direct contact.
Their properties conflict: one requires extreme heat, while the other breaks down under it.
The process becomes destructive. Plastic burns, melts, or deforms, leaving traces within the glass.
The work explores imprint and preservation — what remains, what disappears, and how value shifts over time.
Each object is unique and will not be reproduced.
