Part of the BA thesis Pushing Daisies, examining material value, decay, and transformation.
Glass (sand) and plastic — one of the earliest and one of the last man-made materials — are brought into direct contact.
Their properties conflict: one requires extreme heat, the other breaks under it.
The process becomes destructive.
Plastic burns, melts, or deforms, leaving traces within the glass.
The work focuses on imprint and preservation — what remains, what disappears, and how value shifts over time.
This piece is part of a series of eleven vessels developed within the project.
Each object is unique and will not be reproduced.
