Wax Modelling Kit — DIY
This kit offers an entry into the making process of YCCIJ.
Not as a substitute for a workshop, but as an autonomous tool for independent work.
Hard carving wax is used to cut, subtract, and define.
Soft red wax allows for pressing, bending, and building form intuitively.
Ring or pendant — the decision is part of the process.
The focus is not perfection, but form-finding.
Working with wax is direct, physical, and forgiving. You learn by doing — through resistance, mistakes, and small discoveries.
I created this kit for working independently: at home, at your own pace, without a fixed outcome. Used alone or shared, placed on a table, it becomes a reason to slow down, talk, and make something together.
Once your piece feels resolved, it can be cast in silver through me.
Please note that casting your piece in silver involves an additional charge for material (depending on weight), casting, and finishing, ranging between €90 - 200€. Once I receive and review your wax model, I will estimate the final cost and send you a quote for approval before proceeding.
